Digging Deep has nothing to do with the nominal Christian or the merely religious person. Digging Deep is a counsel to the born again Christian. A seed or a young plant will not grow to maturity or bear fruit if it is uprooted and replanted repeatedly. Nor will it grow and be firmly rooted if it is planted on a porous sandy soil. Digging Deep is an attempt to encourage Christians to lay a good solid foundation of faith.
