The day was 9th March 1973; the venue, a town hall in Port Harcourt.

As the Crusaders were questioned by the chiefs on their mission, the children ran around the hall clapping, dancing and singing the song of the Crusaders -

“Only Jesus Can Save, Only Jesus Can Save, Alleluia!”

50 years on, the message is the same - “Only Jesus Can Save!”
