After crusading Port Harcourt and it’s suburbs, the Lord directed the Ministry of Greater Evangelism World Crusade to Ogoniland in Rivers State, Nigeria. That was in the 1970’s. As part of the 50th anniversary celebration, led by Pastor Isaac Olori (International Director, GEWC), we stormed the Ogoni axis with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The two-day crusade which was tagged “Bori Divine Visitation” and was held at the Birabi Memorial Grammar school, Bori from 8th to 9th July 2022. It was an exciting time in God’s presence, with soul lifting music and testimonies from the last “Divine Visitation” Crusade held in Ahoada.

Delivering the word on both days was Pastor Isaac Olori, and he spoke on the topic,  “Jesus the Divine Visitor” (Acts 38:10). He said, “When the divine visitor visits a man, He leaves evidence of His visit”. Jesus, the Divine visitor was present to heal, save and deliver as the testimonies came in their numbers.

Also in attendance was Pastor Dr. Mrs. Nonyem Numbere, the President, Greater Evangelism Women Fellowship International. While addressing the people, she stated that the Ogonis were first visited by God through the Ministry in the early 70s’. Although the people were hostile to the gospel, the power of God prevailed through His servant, Apostle G.D Numbere of blessed memory and his team, the kingdom of God was established in the Ogoni land, which led to the exile and abolishment of some satanic practices amongst the Ogoni people.

As part of the crusade, a free medical outreach was conducted for the members of the community, with basic medical care provided by healthcare professionals.

To the glory of God, the crusade ended with a thanksgiving service on Sunday, 10th July 2022 with great testimonies and salvation of souls.
